Throughout much of the Muslim world, Holocaust denial and distortion is becoming a bedrock article of faith. Through the Arabic translations of Holocaust revisionist literature and classic anti-Semitic screeds, some Arab and Muslim leaders have sought to make Holocaust denial a tool against Israel and the West. But in at least a few corners of Islam, there is an honest accounting of the past — and in particular, an understanding of what befell European Jewry more than six decades ago. |

Albania's Albtelecom signs €100 million loan to upgrade its technology |

TIRANA, Albania: Albania's phone company Albtelecom said Friday it had signed a €100 million (US$159 million) loan from two banks to upgrade its technology and increase capacity. The company said it was borrowing €75 million (US$119 million) from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and €25 million (US$40 million) from the Black Sea Bank for Reconstruction and Development. |

The ATI FireGL V7700 graphics accelerator is made for professional
computers used in computer-aided design, digital content creation, and
medical imaging. "The ATI FireGL family of workstation graphics
accelerators is designed to deliver visible advantages and performance

 | In case you've been living under the rock that is your desktop PC, the mobile/UMPPC processor biz is hot shit right now. So Digitimes' report that Nvidia was in talks to pick up Via (who specialises in mobile processors, like in the OQO, or their own UMPC) makes sense, particularly with Nvidia's recent charge back into the mobile market with its low power, HD video-eating chipsets.

| There's been a great deal of news regarding AMD's HD 3800 series of high-end desktop video cards including predictions of upcoming price cuts to compete with NVIDIA's 9600 GT mid-range product. The two models AMD currently offers in this high-end Radeon line of graphics cards are the HD 3850 and HD 3870. To better compete with the recently launched GeForce 9600 GT, AMD will launch a new model in the HD 3800 series with a more modest configuration than its two older counterparts.
